The MFL we teach is Spanish. This is introduced in an informal way in Key Stage One, with timetabled lessons in Key Stage Two. We are very lucky to have two teachers in our school who are fluent in Spanish.
We have enrichment days when the children work across the school sharing their knowledge. We also have links to a school in Spain, enabling the children to practice their skills and share their developing ability with others.
We intend that our approach fosters a love of languages and the confidence to have a go.
