As part of the Mental Health Foundation’s “Mental Health Week,” DEMAT Launched Purple Day in all their schools.
The aim of this special day was to raise awareness of Mental Health and promote Wellbeing for all children, staff and families.
This year, the theme of the day “being ourselves,” aimed to celebrate uniqueness. It sought to encourage children to celebrate who they are and recognise their strengths.
At Guilden Morden we wore purple clothes and raised £34.50 towards our chosen charity, Home-Start Royston & South Cambridgeshire.
Thank you all very much for your support.
