The staff, children and parents enjoyed a late September Harvest Festival.
The Headteacher was very appreciative of the warm welcome by those involved in the St Mary’s Church, particularly Canon Williams who led the service. The children, all wearing fruit and vegetable hats shared poems, prayers and readings very confidently. The singing was lovely and ranged from more traditional harvest songs to a harvest samba that the children really enjoyed singing. The youngest class shared what they had seen growing and invited the parents to remember all of the different vegetables.
The Headteacher and the children were very pleased to see so many parents and thanked them for their generous donations that would be going to Cambridge City Food bank.
