On Thursday, the children took part in a special Remembrance Service.
The children showed their respect at the memorial outside as Canon Williams spoke a few words and a prayer.
The children in Robins class showed the beautiful poppies that they had made. Some of the children donated their lovely poppies they to the church for a display.
The rest are part of a display in the school hall.
Everyone maintained the 2 minutes silence - even the very young children from the Pre-school. We were proud of them all as this is not easy.
The readings were poignant as was the saying of the names of the fallen from Guilden Morden.
The children from Swallows class had written prayers that they shared.
The playing of ocarinas (by Swallows Class) to one of the songs really complemented the lovely singing.
Thank you to the staff and children for such a moving service and thank you to the parents for joining us.
As ever, we are grateful to Canon Williams and the church community for their welcome and support.
