The November 2011 OFSTED REPORT stated that: Guilden Morden C of E Primary School is a good school with outstanding features, according to Government inspectors.
"The school gives pupils a good education. The
school has improved since the last inspection, and is continuing to do
so, because it is well led with ambition to give all pupils the best
possible educational experience. Pupils and parents and carers
appreciate the school's friendly, family atmosphere and pupils feel
safe and secure at school."
"The school is outstanding in the care, support
and guidance it provides for individuals. It is highly effective in
helping pupils to overcome any barriers to learning. It works closely
with families in this, intent on ensuring that pupils thrive at school
and become successful learners. The headteacher, with the support of
staff and the governing body, provides a strong sense of direction. The
school has good capacity to continue to improve. Effective
teamwork is taking action on the school's priorities for improvement.
Pupils' progress is closely monitored and swift action is taken if
pupils are achieving less
than they should. The governing body has a clear overview of the school
and supports it effectively. The school keeps parents and carers well
informed about school life and their children's progress. "
